IRONMAN 70.3 Brasil returns to Brasilia where the first event occurred. The new course encompasses famous architectural spots and Brazilian central plateau landscape.

IRONMAN 70.3 Brasil takes place in Brasilia, federal capital of Brazil, located at Distrito Federal, on Midwest region of the country.

The city, known for its tradition and history, offers a spectacular mix of urban planning and architectural design to its visitors. The race course consists of two transitions, a triangle shaped swim in the calm waters of Lake Paranoa, bike circuit divided into an 8.8 km stretch and two-lap stretch of 40.6 km and a two-lap run through Brasilia. It features a unique modern landscape and famous architectural spots designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

There are 50 qualifying slots for the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 in Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, NV.
